Scoil Naomh Bríd, Culleens is a mixed Primary School located on the Killala Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo.
There are 10 classroom teachers, 4 full time learning support teachers, a shared resource teacher, three special needs assistants as well as a full time secretary, an administrative principal and a school caretaker/cleaner. We have only 4 classrooms in our school and the rest of the building is prefabs. We dream of a day when we will have a new school.
Every classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard. We have 7 ebeam and 2 Touch IT boards. We have excellent internet service, a laptop trolley, one iPad, a visualiser, digital cameras, camcorders, an Apple Mac, microphones and headphones.
We have digital school status, 3 green flags and an award for Discover Primary Science every year since 2004.
We are very proud of our school and we enjoy all the work that happens here.
Directions
Take the R314 from Ballina Town Centre to Killala for 2.6km. Once you pass McVann’s furniture shop take the next right. The school is on the right along this road.

Junior and Senior Infants go home at 2.00pm.
(To enable infants to adjust to school routine, all junior infants go home at 12.00 for the first two weeks).
All other classes go home at 3.00pm.
