We had great fun today working our our science experiments. They included:

Making a lava lamp with oil, water, food colouring and Alka Seltzer
The Fizz Inflator – Blowing up a balloon using baking soda and vinegar
Optical Illusions
The chicken bone experiment – We put a chicken bone in vinegar. We will check it in three days time.

Static Electricity

This was our science experiment for science week. The friction of the balloon rubbing on the hair magnetises the balloon. As a result the hair is attracted to the balloon. Friction changes the hair and the balloon to magnets.
