Saint Lucy

Today on our Advent journey we remembered Saint Lucy. Saint Lucy is  the patron saint of those who are blind. Today we decorated some glasses and made them look really cool.
Our research question is to find out the name of the writing that blind people read.
Clue: It begins with “b”

Banana Milkshakes

Last week we were reading about recipes and looking at “bia” in our Irish too. In our Lift Off book there was a recipe for banana milkshake. So we had to taste some…….

Christmas Assembly

Christmas cheer was the order of the day in Culleens as all classes performed for Assembly. We had great renditions of “Awayin a manger” “Happy Birthday Jesus” “Jingle bells” “Cloiginí na Nollag” Na hArd Rí and ” Wise Men Three” from the Junior end.
